Small teams, big outcomes

Why senior-only delivery beats scaling headcount for most projects.

Headcount is not throughput

Adding people to a website project adds coordination, not speed. Every extra person introduces handovers, and every handover loses context about why a decision was made. On projects under three months, that loss is the main source of delay.

We keep delivery teams deliberately small: one senior lead who owns the outcome, plus specialists pulled in for defined pieces of work such as accessibility testing, brand identity or payment integration.

One person owns the outcome

Clients talk to the person doing the work. There is no account manager relaying requirements, so nothing is lost in translation and decisions happen in the same conversation where the question is raised.

That also means accountability is unambiguous. If a launch date is at risk, you hear it from the person who can actually change the plan.

A network, not a bench

Small does not mean fragile. We maintain a trusted network of developers, designers and testers we have worked with before, so capacity scales up for larger builds without dropping quality or restarting a relationship from zero.

The core stays senior. The network absorbs volume. Deadlines stay honest.
